Dr. Joe Spoo, DACVSMR, created this course based on decades of first-hand experience and knowledge to help dog owners become educated handlers, reduce vet costs, and keep dogs happy, healthy, and in the field.
“When I bought the GunDogDoc domain nearly 25 years ago I wanted to develop an education resource for hunting dog owners,” states Dr. Joe Spoo. “At that time I assumed it would be text and picture based but never felt the message was fully conveyed like we can do with a video course like this. This course gives hunters the opportunity to become empowered owners as it relates to their dog’s care and health. Our goal is to give dog owners the knowledge they need to recognize these unique conditions of hunting dogs, serve as their dog’s advocate when seeking care and most importantly to be able to administer that care in the field when they are the best option for the best outcome for their hunting partner.”
