“The fun thing about waterfowl hunting the marsh, you never know what kind of birds you might encounter. We were actually looking to target swans but found very few, so Andrew and I set out after some of the ducks we saw working.
Despite looking pretty good while scouting, it was a fairly slow day. We made the most of the limited opportunities that presented themselves and came home with a few birds for the table, including a bird I wasn’t expecting.”
