Making the most of a good day in Illinois!

“Snow geese in southern Illinois saved our season! We had hopes of ending our duck season in Illinois at Ryne’s place, but just as the rest of the season had gone, plans seldom worked during this duck season. With no ducks nor Canada Geese around, Ryne and buddy Scott Madison located some snow geese in southern Illinois and gained access to a feeding field. We knew it would be a challenge during the regular season since we were limited to mouth calling, but the scouting, knocking on doors, and hard work with hundreds of snow goose and speck decoys led to excellent weekend!”
